PERSONAL DATA: Born on the 26th of January 1980 in Reykjavik. Wife Margret Elin Arnarsdottir and two children.

EDUCATION: Graduated from Menntaskólinn í Kópavogi 2000. Earned a Private Pilot License in 2000 and a Commercial Pilot License with instrument rating and multi engine rating in 2003. Flight instructor rating in 2003 and class rating instructor and instrument rating instructor in 2004. Attended a MCC course at Oxford aviation in 2003, B737 type rating in 2004 and B757/767 typerating in 2005.

EXPERIENCE: Flight instructor with Flugsyn, Icelandic flight academy and Keilir Aviation Academy. First officer with Icelandair since 2005 on B757/767. Total flying hours are 4000hrs total, 2500 on turbo jet aeroplanes and over 1200hrs instruction time.

KEILIR AVIATION ACADEMY: Joined Keilir in 2009 as a flight instructor. Chief Flight Instructor from December 2010.
