Service Request and Emergencies
All service requests need to be be filled out online through the Student Housing web. Lessees can login to the website with their username and password that they received when signing the contract.
The service request form can be found under “my page”. It is not possible to make a service request via telephone or at the Keilir offices.
The lessee needs to fill out a short description on the service that needs to be done. Please do not make one request in many part, it is rather advised to fill out more requests if necessary. The requests are handled as soon as possible either by declining them or forwarding them to the ÍAV services. ÍAV service handles the accepted request and they respond as soon as possible or in accordance with their workload.
Please notice that small repairments as changing light bulbs and such is fully the responsibility of the lessee him/her self. The emergency number for ÍAV services is 800 2424. Service request for telephone, tv or internet connection is handled by Síminn. The Síminn helpdesk can be reached at 800 7000.

Rate list for services
- Emergency opening during office hours: kr. 4.000,-
- Emergency opening after office hours: kr. 5.000,-
- Emergency opening during weekends and holidays: kr. 6.000,-
- Extra key: kr. 1.500,- (kr. 1.000,- repaid to the lessee at the end of the contract)
- Extra cardkey: kr. 5.000,- Cleaning an apartment: kr. 3.500,- per hour
- Moving within the area: kr. 10.000,-
- Inspection without the presence of the lessee: kr. 5.000,-
- A third inspection: kr. 5.000,-
- The cost of a tradesman during office hours: 5.150,- per hour
- The cost of a tradesman after office hourse and during weekends: kr. 8.034,- per hour
- The cost of a worker during office hours: kr. 3.900,- per hour
- The cost of a worker after office hourse and during weekends: kr. 6.084,- per hour
- A moving truck including the driver: kr. 11.200.- per hour
Please notice that when requesting an emergency opening the requester needs to conclusively show that they are indeed the lessee of the apartment as well as supplying an identity
card
